Jasmin Hagendorfer

Film Title: FUDLIAKS! Tear the sexes apart!

Jasmin Hagendorfer is a Vienna-based artist, writer, curator, and producer. Her main artistic focus lies on installation, performance and film. She is concerned with political discourses and questions about gender identity, specifically with an emphasis on queer and post-porn politics. She holds workshops and presents lectures on feminist pornography and film/art, her latest talk can be seen on TEDX Vienna. As the Creative Director of the Porn Film Festival Vienna and transition international queer & minorities film festival, she creates the concepts of the events, specifically balancing the artistic and theoretical content.

Amanda Richards

Amanda is an award-winning songwriter, producer, director, playwright, actor and musician with a naturally large set of eyelashes. She has worked in the music industry for 20 years as an independent artist with 8 full length, self-released albums under her belt and a feature length film poised to release this year.

Tin Cheung

location: Japan

Film Title: Birthday

Film Description: The script was crafted by Fukuoka-based manga artist and illustrator, Soko Club, while direction and editing were handled by Hong Kong-born, Onomichi-based Tin Cheung. This independent film is a collaborative effort from three artists hailing from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. It emphasizes that the joy of pleasure is universal, regardless of nationality.

Elisa Monteil, La Fille Renne, and Laure Giappiconi

location: France

Film Title: Dancing Bodies

La Fille Renne – photographer and tattoo artist -, Laure Giappiconi – actress and author – and Elisa Monteil – sound designer and performer -, form a film-making collective. Their research revolves around explicit representations of desire and takes various forms, at the crossroads of dissident poetry and visual performance. They are committed to highlighting bodies, identities and sexualities that are outside the usual normative representations. They develop a singular aesthetic, shooting exclusively on film, LomoKino or Super 8, fixing timeless, feminist and queer images in these layers of chemistry.

Daviel Shy

location: USA (Los Angeles, CA)

Film Title: Ritual Waters

Daviel Shy wrote and directed THE LADIES ALMANACK, starring Guinevere Turner, Hélène Cixous, and Eileen Myles, which premiered at Outfest in 2017. She wrote, directed, and stars in THE LOVERS, a seven episode series currently seeking distribution, and she has made dozens of short films. She was associate producer of BODY OF WORK, and the widely acclaimed documentary, LADY BUDS.  Shy runs L.M.N.O.P: Lesbian Movie Night Ongoing Project, and is co-founder of the queer, analog-forward porn production company, DAYLiGHTFiLMs.

Werther Germondari

Film Title: The Experiment of Professor Morel

Werther Germondari is a nonbinary visual artist, independent filmmaker and performer living and working in Rome and Amelia (in the Italian region of Umbria). Werther tells funny and surreal stories against a background of testing boundaries. With the help of his*her comedic talent, Werther playfully encourages political reflection.

Iris Glitzer (Fucking Conflicts)

location: Germany

Film Title: How to Eat a Whole Watermelon and Get Away With It

Fucking Conflicts started their journey in 2020. A spontaneous film shooting initiated a solid collaboration between Officer Flower and Iris Glitzer (pronouns of both: they/them), resulting in the production of further juicy films, with a soft spot for storytelling, a DIY approach and a cinephile toolset. Fucking Conflicts’ work has been presented at porn film festivals around the globe as well as in broader themed festivals.

Rachel Britton

location: USA (Grand Rapids, MI)

Film Title: Beat It

Rachel Britton (she/they) is a queer, digital artist based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Born with an identical twin and fraternal triplet, Britton mimics their relationship to multiplicity by compositing images: they articulate bodies together as an homage to sharing the womb while performing the artistic expression that sets them apart from their siblings. Switching places with their identical twin as a child was the catalyst to their fascination with disguises, characters, and fluctuating identities, and continues into multiple avenues of creative queer expression: Britton’s identical twin is a drag artist and taught Britton how to sew costumes and do their makeup. Britton explores the characters they create through self-portraits and experimental short films but also dabbles with baking, trombone, and collage.

Marie-Ève Drolet

location: Canada

Film Title: Cyprine

Marie-Ève is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Montreal. Through film animation studies, she developed a sensibility towards materiality and mixed mediums. She remains greatly interested in the convergence between visual arts and cinema, hence her interest in mixed media, under-camera animation and video installations. Her works navigate between the experimental and documentary approaches, following her interest and her sensitivity towards the subjectivity of each individual.

Yazmeen Mirgoli

Film Title: Abduction

Film Description: A re-telling of the myth of Persephone through the lens of bondage and BDSM, a young woman navigates through the labyrinth of power dynamics and restraint, as she overcomes her struggles for autonomy and self-actualization.

Stanka Gjurić

location: Croatia

Film Title: Twist

Stanka Gjurić is a Croatian independent filmmaker, artist, and acclaimed author with 20 published books. She ventured into filmmaking in 2006 and quickly gained recognition for her ability to blend various cinematic disciplines. As a director, screenwriter, cinematographer, producer, and editor, Stanka crafts films that seamlessly merge innovation with compelling storytelling.

Alessandro Amaducci

location: Italy

Film Title: The Stage of Flesh

Amaducci is a professor of video language and practice in DAMS, University of Torino. He has written several books about videoart; video techniques and aesthetics of electronic arts. Since 1989 he has produced experimental videos, music videos, video installations, multimedia shows, videoscenographies for dance performances and digital photographs.

Luca D Pellicoro

location: USA (San Francisco, CA)

Film Title: Succubi

Luca grew up in Europe but in late teenagehood found themselves in the U.S. South. Falling into the local queer community, their appreciation for kink blossomed. After arriving in California, they discovered adding a camera to a scene multiplied the creative possibilities of any encounter.

Film Title: The Passenger

Film Description: A well meaning, sexually exploratory, paraplegic man in a wheelchair meets an open minded girl. Together they discover the awkwardness that comes with casual dating, particularly ones that begin in a sex shop

About the director: Frank discovered his love for filmmaking at a very young age when he and his friends got their hands on a mini DV camcorder and started creating their homemade masterpieces/abominations. He grew up in Boise, Idaho, and moved to New Mexico after high school to attend the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Between classes, he wrote and directed his first feature-length abomination/masterpiece with a near-zero budget.

“jjork” represents this year’s configuration of our ever-evolving creative collective. Various iterations of our team have had the privilege of being part of the TEASR Film Festival since its inception in 2021. Independently, we are very different artists with unique voices spanning a variety of mediums. We are grateful for the platform TEASR provides to share collaborative creative work with the greater Tucson art community and learn so much more about the filmmaking process.

Sideshow Velva

Film Title: Cempasúchil

Sideshow Velva is a Tucson educator and drag performer. They earned their Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts from The University of Arizona in 2014. They’ve recently gotten back into filmmaking with the specific goal of creating art films that connect with their native heritage and ancestral roots.

Jazzy Boho

Film Title: Y2KAGE

Jazzy Boho is a queer independent filmmaker, creative director, multi-media artist, producer, and 2024 Rocky Mountain Southwest EMMY® RECIPIENT. Known for directing feature-length films, including the immersive neuro-political virus musical Cyberfuck, the documentary EarthBound, USA, and the award-winning mixed media short films animation Battle of the Millennial Mind. Jazzy’s work is grounded in collaboration, shaped by a youth enriched by public access television and the early internet. Their projects blend a love of cinema with experimental production methods to create humanistic, community-driven films. Based in Tucson, they’re currently working on their next feature film.
